Unique Moments between Mountains & ValleyHippach – and the surrounding villages of Ramsau and Schwendau – have a lot to offer, not only in winter. The Zillertaler, Tuxer and Kitzbüheler Alps are also the perfect terrain for hiking and mountain biking fans. The lifts take guests who spend their holiday in Hippach directly to the top of Ramsberg. Mountain bikers can choose from 800 km of bike trails in the Zillertal valley. Furthermore, there are also many Cross Country Trails at Penken.
Fun sport activities such as paragliding, horse-back riding and rafting on the Ziller river are also offered: The Action Club Zillertal, located directly at the main road in Mayrhofen offers a diverse outdoor program ranging from rafting and canyoning to guided climbing tours. In Uderns, approx. a 20-minutes drive away from Hippach, there is a new 18-hole golf course with a large driving range as well as putting and chipping greens which was constructed in 2014.
